The server has been debugged and tentatively deemed "stable". The issues had nothing to do with any specific user activity (flag caps, mines, or anything else). It was instead a rather a bizarre, sporadic memory allocation/deallocation issue. With the server now stable, we shouldn't need to run it under
Valgrind any more, which will result in greatly improved server performance, reducing lag and the like. Thanks for your patience over the last couple of days. This bug was sporadic enough to never show up in our internal stress testing, and was a great demonstration of how the public Vendetta Test will make our final game much more stable.
